Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Slyde is operated by Playlist Pro LLC (630 Third Ave., Suite 1502, New York, NY 10017, USA) and is available at https://slyde.cc and on our other domains. This policy explains what personal data we collect from creators and visitors, why, and what your rights are. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Data we collect

Creators (account holders): name, email address, a hashed password (never the password itself), profile details such as your avatar, bio, and page content, your notification and timezone preferences, and the payout details needed by our payout providers.

Visitors: the name and email address you enter when you start a conversation, and — only if you choose to add one — a phone number used to notify you of replies via iMessage or WhatsApp. Visitors do not create accounts; your conversation is tied to a private link.

Conversation content: the messages, files, and links exchanged in a conversation, and records of payments made in it.

Collected automatically: log and device data such as IP address and browser type, and product-usage events (for example page visits and payments) that help us run and improve the Service.

3. How we use data

  • to provide the Service: deliver messages, process payments, credit balances, and execute payouts;
  • to send transactional email — sign-in codes, receipts, reply notifications, and digests you can configure;
  • to notify visitors of replies by iMessage or WhatsApp when they opt in with a phone number;
  • to prevent fraud, enforce rate limits, and keep the Service secure;
  • to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use conversation content for advertising.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only payment metadata — amounts, status, timestamps, and processor references — needed to run the Service. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

5. Service providers

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Service. They process it on our behalf under their own agreements and safeguards:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Wise — payouts to creators;
  • Vercel — hosting and file storage;
  • Neon — database hosting;
  • Upstash — rate limiting;
  • Segment and Customer.io — product analytics and transactional messaging;
  • Sendblue and Meta (WhatsApp) — reply notifications for visitors who opt in with a phone number.

Some providers process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies that are necessary for the Service to work: keeping creators signed in, binding a sign-in code to the browser that requested it, and remembering a visitor's conversation. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed to provide the Service: account data for the life of the account, conversation content while the conversation exists, and payment records for as long as tax, accounting, and dispute-handling obligations require. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@playlistpro.com — we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

Note for visitors: creators can see the name, email, and messages you share in a conversation with them. Requests about a creator's own use of that information are best directed to the creator; we will help where we can.

9. Security

We protect data with measures appropriate to the risk: encryption in transit, hashed passwords, scoped access to production systems, and payment handling delegated to PCI-compliant processors. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. For material changes we will give notice — for example by email or a notice in the dashboard — before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
